@Marshall Sutherland We'll have many more reminders soon and of our very own fragility at that. Some of them are going to be quite inconvenient while some societies are at the halfway point.

That is, committed cashless societies, like Norway, are still quite complacent and are glowing with that false sense of security, with perhaps, even a bit of superiority. An event, such as you have just described, ironically brings more than just particles, waves and light, down to earth.
