That may not be such a bad deal. One assumes, that all the invaders looking for free stuff, may have to find greener pastures. The freedom lovers, may welcome not having any centralized law, trying to push us around. Perhaps, then we can try to rebuild the society which we crave. If not, I'm fine with running amok and having a blast, trying my hand, with mindless, bloody violence.
