Russia is winning in all facets of the war that the west is waging on her and she's thriving while doing so. The author tries to be clever insinuating that invention is the mother of necessity, when the opposite is more likely true. Indeed Russia is full of natural resources which is why the west is trying so hard, hoping for her defeat.
Anyway it is at least one of the latest admission by another person on the left, proclaiming that Ukraine and the west, specifically NATO, have no chance of defeating Russia or indeed, even a chance for long term survival. We who are living in the west, are rejoicing in her embarrassment. Since the west has forgotten that charity begins at home. Despite the frightful losses being endured in the Russia-Ukraine war, it is clear, at least when it comes to using economic and financial weapons, that Moscow has prevailed.
