The Department of Justice is claiming that Russians gave Lauren Chen $10 million to push pro-Russia propaganda to Americans. It is part of the Russian disinformation conspiracy story This entire thing is either a total hoax or somebody inside the American intelligence apparatus, FBI etc.. posed as Russians and gave her money as part of a setup to charge her with crimes.
