The Cucks Of The Cuckoos.The etymology of the word cuck, seems to stem from the parasitic practices of some species of the cuckoo bird, which lay their eggs in the nests of other birds. Which makes sense really. People have a vulgar notion of the word and this is its simple origin. Cuckoos lay their eggs into the nests of other birds and when they hatch the cuckoo hatchling kicks out the eggs of the competition and leaves the host birds to care for a foreign invader. Which sums up the republican party in a nutshell or eggshell for that matter.
Republicans are a useless lot. They're too scared to tell the truth because of public relations matters and they're weak compared to the Marxist democrats, who always seem to rule Washington, DC, no matter which party is in power. Another Season Of Shutdown Theater Is Upon Us, And Republicans Are Already Cucking Out.
Republicans want to tie a six-month funding stopgap (Continuing Resolution or CR) to the SAVE Act - which would require proof of citizenship when registering to vote. On Wednesday, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) yanked a funding bill off the House floor hours before an expected vote after a growing number of Republicans vowed to tank the measure which includes the SAVE Act.
Democrats want a "clean" funding bill that would keep the government open until December, right after the elections, without (of course) the SAVE Act.
Donald Trump wants Johnson and the Republicans to grow a pair of balls and let the government shut down if they can't preserve the SAVE Act.
