Free Speech & Freedom, Is Offensive. I wonder when we, in the United States, particularly in the congress, will start, imprisoning people, whose speech, is found offensive to some? One can be quite sure, that, that day, isn't far off. The Third Reich would be proud of how the EU deals with freedom of expression, association and speech. Obviously, the Third Reich, would see areas in other aspects, of European life, where it would make the necessary improvements. However, I digress. As far as speech is concerned, the EU and the EU bureaucracy, those unelected wonders, would make a certain, mustachioed, German leader, very hopeful. Mark Twain was right, when he noted that history doesn't necessarily, repeat itself, it mirrors itself by rhyming. Actually, I was paraphrasing, Twain, said history doesn't repeat itself, it rhymes.

The Council of the EU, which gathers all heads of government of the bloc’s member states, is laser-focused on further regulating speech online, with its latest target being those who hold considerable sway there: influencers. #
