British Delusion is Deep and Profound.by Larry Johnson.Normally I would ignore the ignorance and stupidity expressed in the following video, but given Mr. Robert Fox’s credentials — he was the
London Standard’s defense editor — his presentation is worth listening to in order to appreciate just how divorced from reality the establishment “experts” are in the United Kingdom.
Here is the video, but I will post below some of the more absurd quotes from the transcript:
I will only subject you to three quotes from this buffoon. Let’s start with his insistence that Russia is the aggressor and that Europe is an innocent in all of this:
I think whatever there is in the Coalition of the willing, and let’s not talk about Armed Forces at the moment, they see something different about Ukraine now from America and it’s simply this — they have to draw the line at Ukraine because they see a war-like Russia, whose economy as well as its government, is dedicated to being a military regime at the moment and the threat that that poses to not only Eastern Europe to Western Europe.
Fox fails to acknowledge the complete collapse of Starmer’s,
Coalition of the Willing. There is no coalition. Moreover, Fox refuses to admit that Britain is an impotent military power. He then pushes the ludicrous claim that Russia’s economy, which is growing at an annual rate of 4%, is struggling. Boy, that is rich, coming from a Brit, who is incapable of conceding that the British economy is lagging far behind Russia’s.
Ukraine has an edge, it suffering very badly on the ground, but has an edge in it is striking Logistics. It has a capability of deeper strike at refueling, at formation points at the Deep backup area, the Deep Logistics area for this, what is now this enormous effort. With the special military operation to which about 150,000 Personnel mostly military but some civilian are now committed, huge strain on the Russian economy about 420,000 in and around the operational area, per se, so I think it’s a real test of nerve and Putin at the moment ,while he’s got his friend in the White House, thinks that he could push on. But how long for? I only give it a few months.
How detached from reality can one old man be? Mr. Fox will be in for a rude awakening come June, when Russia is likely to cause the complete collapse of the Ukrainian front all along the line of contact in the Donbas and Zaphorhyzhia. Check out what he says about the Black Sea and Russia:
It is extraordinary when we’re considering what’s been said this week about the proposals for the ceasefire in the Black Sea, that Ukraine would be prepared for it there, in that one key area where they’ve beaten Russia. How much has this supremacy of the Black Sea hurt Russia economically, I think very badly, but it’s also hurt their prestige, because Putin has always proclaimed in his pronouncement when he’s doing a strategic roundup.
I am highlighting Fox’s ridiculous attempt at analysis because he represents the mindset of the British establishment. This kind of thinking is going to lead Britain into taking actions that run the risk of provoking a Russian military response. Fox, unlike the animal that shares his name, is a fat, toothless toy poodle. If
Webster’s Dictionary wants to post a photo to illustrate the word,
obtuse, I nominate Mr. Fox for that honor.
It is no wonder, based on commentary like that of Fox, that Trump and Vance do not see Europe as a reliable, competent partner.
Parasites is probably a more apt description. Mr. Fox, and others like him, need to come to grips with the fact that the United States does not need a single thing from Europe. The same cannot be said in terms of Europe’s dependence on the United States. Maybe we are at the start of a realignment that will put an end to NATO. It has outlived its relevance.
I’ve posted a couple of interviews from this past week that just hit my mailbox. The first is with Thomas Karat, who I believe is based in the Netherlands. I’ve also posted the audio of my conversation with Tom Luongo. If you’re having a slow day, you might find these chats entertaining:
