Maduro Urges the People of the US to Unite with Venezuela for Continental Peace
Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro has urged the people of the United States to unite with Venezuela for the peace of the Americas. He made the remarks in the middle of a mass rally on Youth Day in Caracas on Thursday amid heightened tensions with the US.
On the issue of possible aggression by the US, the Venezuelan President told CNN, “We are focused on the people, governing with peace, with these young people building.”
